Best way to tour art in a foreign city.
Our tours usually start from the city’s iconic Museum Island, Soho House Berlin or Gorki apartments Berlin. From here we´ll launch our exploration into Berlin’s rich cultural heritage, exploring and wandering along the hidden courtyards and famous galleries of Berlin’s arts district. Then we’ll dive deeper into the city and visit unique creative spaces and artist studios dispersed among chic boutiques and bookshops, stellar restaurants and cafes, and innovative design shops. Along the way, we’ll meet and chat with leading artists, gallerists, curators, and designers who will give us insight into Berlin’s burgeoning contemporary art scene.
Besides the centric art district we suggest to combine the tour with a visit to the thrilling art scene of contemporary East Berlin. Ever-evolving and decidedly off-beat, Berlin’s East End is a work in progress. Walking amidst famous eastern architecture we'll breath in the area’s history as we witness this up-and-coming district’s recent transformation from an industrial wasteland to an edgy, highly artistic neighborhood. We will explore the FAHRBEREITSCHAFT, a historic complex that formerly housed the East German Ministry of Transportation, which has since been transformed into one of Berlin’s most exciting spaces of artistic and creative production. Here we will experience and visit a cutting-edge artist’s studio, where we will learn about contemporary fine art photography, while reflecting on Berlin’s diverse architecture, rich history, and unique creative spaces.
