We will engage with the work of renowned artists and curators working around the topic of artificial intelligence. There will be the opportunity to get a personal portrait drawing done by a group of robots. Besides that we will visit the studio of an artist that integrates intelligent machines into his paintings.

Explore Berlin’s renowned eclectic private art collections. These off the grid spaces will amaze and inspire you. You will find yourself experiencing art in unlikely venues, as you enter the worlds of accomplished art collectors and curators. One of such places is the impressive Boros Collection, housed in a former bunker.

Daily Itinerary

Day 1

Once you have landed, be transferred straight to the city center to check into your hotel. Freshen up and get familiar with your hotel’s surroundings as your tour leader shows you around Mayfair - from Trafalgar Square to Westminster Abbey to the mighty Thames. In the evening, join your fellow travelers for a private dinner at Spring Restaurant, an elegant dining space set in the new wing of the iconic Somerset House, with a joyful, seasonal cuisine.

Day 2

Your journey begins with a visit of the Tate Britain, the home of British art, and of a modern and contemporary art institution, the Tate Modern. Uncover both museums’ seminal artworks and best- kept secrets. End the visit with a 360° rooftop view of London, followed by lunch at Southwark market. In the afternoon, head to White Cube gallery Bermondsey and then to Newport Street Gallery, to see artworks from the private collection of Damien Hirst. Enjoy some drinks at the Shard before dinner.

A visit to the famous Tate Britain

Day 3

Today, we start with a 30-min walk in Ladbroke Square Gardens, a private square in the charming district of Notting Hill, that will lead us right to the Dot Project, a forward thinking art space. Meet its director and one of their protégés. Lunch at a neighborhood spot before spending the afternoon at leisure or taking an optional cruise on the Thames. Tonight, pre-theatre dinner will be served at the Swan Restaurant, and you will get to attend a play at the famous Globe theater.

Private Art Space Reception in Notting Hill

Day 4

Learn about London street art when you explore its trendy East neighborhood and visit Howard Griffin Gallery, specialized in emerging urban and established public art. Next, get a special tour of Whitechapel Gallery and its main exhibition,that deals with topics like big data and climate change. After lunch, indulge in tea time at the Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel with Diego Ferrari, a London-based artist and seasoned art and architecture lecturer, followed by an after hours tour of the Hayward Gallery. Then, unwind like a true Brit at Tenbells’, an iconic East London pub and restaurant.

Learning about Visual Culture

Day 5

Transfer to Berlin and enjoy a lunch break before checking into your hotel. To get you started, discover the city’s major landmarks: the Jewish Memorial, Brandenburger Tor, the German Parliament, to name a few. Then, we will take you on a unique tour of a private collection housed in a former bunker before having an elevated dinner on the rooftop of the Reichstag.

Day 6

Kick off the day with a walk along Berlin’s monumental Unter den Linden boulevard, and discover Mitte’s rich history, from Museum Island to the Jewish District including Hackesche Höfe. Next, visit a Columbian artist’s studio - let yourself be captivated by his colorful artworks and their play on the geometry of space over lunch. Celebrate the 100th anniversary of Bauhaus, the legendary school of design that strove to “rethink the world”, before heading to the theater and attending a concert by some of the most talented musicians in Europe.

Visit the origin of Berlin ́s counterculture

Day 7

This morning, follow your tour leader to the places where art collectors hang out, from the me Collectors Room, to Kuckei + Kuckei, a leader in conceptual art to the KW, a true Berlin institution. Then, Nina Schönefeld, an installation and video artist, will share with you her views on art in an intimate lecture. After having lunch and a short afternoon break, take a walk along the famed East Side Gallery of the Wall. The day will end with a 4-course dinner with a cosmopolitan artist in their studio.

Catch up on the latest in Artificial Intelligence Art with an exclusive gallery visit and meet-and-greet with an artist in the morning. After lunch, see what’s at the very heart of West Berlin’s allure as you visit the grandiose Memorial Church and window-shop at the iconic KaDeWe department store. Later, get ready for a farewell dinner at a former dance hall restaurant, that carries Berlin’s vibe of the Golden Twenties. Dance the night away in this time-warp of excellence.

Robin Resch M.A.

Artist & Social Entrepreneur

Robin Resch is a visual artist and social entrepreneur based in Berlin. He holds a Master from the prestigious Berlin-Weißensee School of Art (2010- 2014) and a diploma in International Cultural Management from the Freiburg Business School.

He is a designated member of the Young Excellent Leaders of Berlin Institutions by Einstein Foundation.

He has led groups of visitors in China, Brazil and different European countries. He has given lectures at museums, art festivals and universities including the University of Arts Berlin, the PHD Program of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Copenhagen, Hamburg Hafen City University, the University of the Arts in Rio de Janeiro and Salvador de Bahia (Brazil). He is a world citizen and fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

This is a conscious business, it’s not just about making money, it’s about producing a lot of beautiful things....It’s about bringing people closer to art, creating friendships, finding art that you love.
